Description
I have photographed this mission many times over the years but this time around I used some HDR processing and I think it really popped the scene to make it stand out. I love the colors in this image as it best represents the lighting I saw there the day I took this image. Espada is the oldest of the East Texas missions having been moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1731. It was originally built in 1690. Today, it is protected by the National Park Service.

Espada is my favorite of all the old Texas missions. The last time I was there was before digital cameras and would love to return one more time...Wow, a super great image, Gary.
Gary Richards replied:
Glad you like it. It is a special mission for sure. Thank you very much, Karen.
