Description

Easily one of Texas's most recognized wildflowers. Growing alongside roads, woodlands and in prairies this plant never fails to please. Prairie coneflower is a member of the sunflower family and yellow/green dyes can be made from this beautiful wildflower. I have seen more yellow variety ones, as well as more orange too.
